- On World Food Day, the Spanish group becomes one of the main partners to spread the foundation’s message and its social projects.
Prisa Brand Solutions has announced that it will donate money and digital advertising services to World Central Kitchen, the organization founded and led by famous chef and philanthropist José Andrés.
In addition to the financial donation, Prisa will support World Central Kitchen’s social work through an advertising campaign led by the group’s operations team based in the US. The campaign’s goal is to make the organization’s activities known in order to increase financial aid.
World Food Day is celebrated on October 16th this year. ‘World Central Kitchen is working with its partners, including Prisa Brand Solutions, to create a digital advertising and marketing campaign that aims at increasing awareness of our emergency mitigation efforts and our long-term programs, which focus on food security,’ stated Erin Gore, World Central Kitchen’s Development VP.
‘We are very proud to work with organizations such as WCK –which has been working with Hispanic communities. One of these is Puerto Rico after being hit by Hurricane Maria, where more than 4M meals have been served and where social programs have been created to help the island grow its own food and be better prepared in the event of another hurricane,’ added José Antonio Ortega, CEO of Prisa Brand Solutions USA and LATAM.
World Central Kitchen is currently promoting aid programs in the Bahamas in the aftermath of hurricane Dorian. Prisa Brand Solutions is also a partner organization for this project.
“We feel deeply sorry for this tragedy and our corporate responsibility leads us to help and serve the Bahamas at this critical time,’ Ortega concluded.
